Difference between fiber Laser marking machine and CO2 Laser marking machine

CO2 Laser marking machine uses CO2 gas as the laser medium to emit laser, and the wavelength of the gas laser is the core configuration of the equipment. It mainly targets at the marking of non-metallic materials, such as plastic, glass, etc., but after a period of use, it needs to be inflated (CO2 gas). The lifetime of the laser is about 30000 hours. It can work continuously for a long time. It is the first choice for marking of non-metallic materials because of the combination of the laser and the flight marking.
From the processing application point of view, fiber Laser marking machine and CO2 Laser marking machine beam wavelength density and length is not the same. CO2 Laser marking machine is micron, application range: PVC, ABS, PMMA, PC, AK, EP, glass, wood, paper, etc.
The optical fiber Laser marking machine is 1064 nm, which is much shorter than CO2 laser, and has better absorption of metal. In terms of service life, the service life of fiber Laser marking machine is 100000 hours, and that of CO2 marking machine is 30000 hours. The former is much longer than the latter.
In terms of accuracy, optical fiber is a nano scale processing method, while CO2 is a micron scale, so the accuracy of optical fiber is higher than CO2.
