Micro knowledge | Laser marking machine failure does not light, there are these troubleshooting methods

Laser marking machine is a kind of marking equipment which uses different lasers to strike laser beams on different material surfaces. Through light energy, physical or chemical changes can occur in the surface material, so as to engrave patterns, trademarks, words and other permanent signs. The troubleshooting methods of Laser marking machine failure are as follows:


  1. Check the power supply:

Check whether the power supply wiring of the laser is correct, whether the + 24 V and GND are reversely connected, and whether the ground wire is grounded. Whether the power supply of the laser is normal or not, and whether the power supply meets the actual power supply requirements in the no-load and load (connected with the laser) state.

  1. Check the board:

Whether the signal of pin 18 and pin 19 is normal. Whether the power supply of the marking card is normal, and whether the signal of the control laser is normal.

  1. Check the emergency switch:

Check whether the emergency stop switch (pin23 pin) of the equipment is normal (when the laser is working, the signal is high level).

  1. Check the marking software:

Whether the software settings are correct. Use the software laser test function to observe whether there is a light spot. Use debugging software to test the laser and observe the parameters.

  1. Check DB25 signal:

Whether the guiding light signal is in the low level state in the marking state. If the guiding light signal is at low level (pin22 pin is at "0" level) in the marking state, if the guiding light signal is at high level (1 "level), the laser will give priority to output the guiding light. Check whether the DB25 pin serial port of the laser is correctly connected according to the connection definition.

  1. Check the red light signal:

If the red light signal is high, the red light output will take precedence( If it is a built-in red laser, we can judge whether the laser optical path is normal by detecting whether there is red light output.)

  1. Check the isolator:

Confirm whether the light spot of the isolator is normal (the light spot is round and there is no dark spot).
