Dot matrix carving is similar to high-definition dot matrix printing. The laser head swings left and right, carves a line composed of a series of points at a time, then moves the laser head up and down to carve out multiple lines at the same time, and finally forms the whole version of the image or text. The scanned graphics, text and vectorized graphics can be carved by dot matrix.

Vector cutting is different from dot matrix carving, which is carried out on the outline of the picture and text. We usually use this mode to cut through wood, acrylic, paper and other materials, and also to mark various materials.

Carving speed: carving speed refers to the speed of laser head moving, usually expressed by IPS (inches / second), which brings high production efficiency. Speed is also used to control the depth of cutting. For a specific laser intensity, the slower the speed, the greater the depth of cutting or carving.

The speed can be adjusted by the engraving machine panel, or by the computer operating software. Within the range of 1% to 100%, the adjustment range is 1%. The advanced motor motion control system can make you still get super fine carving quality when carving at high speed.
